Christian grew up in Evanston, IL, pitching at Loyola Academy and Eastern Kentucky. He was a first-round draft pick by the Colorado Rockies in 2008, spending parts of four seasons in the majors with the Rockies and San Diego Padres, and pitched a season in Korea. Now he’s back home, helping young pitchers develop their own lifelong-love of the game.
